Prof. INOUE Chihiro is working as a professor at the Graduate School of Environmental Studies, Tohoku University, Japan. Prof. INOUE has years of experience in integrated engineering，environmental impact assessment, environmental policy and social systems, and agricultural chemistry. Prof. INOUE is researching to solve several environmental problems, based on mass transfer phenomenon, reaction engineering and bio-engineering. His group is studying advanced technologies and methods to remediate the environment, to develop new remediation technologies, and to make efficient use of geo-environmental resources. In addition, His group is trying to find out possible ways to recover rare metals and energy from waste materials.

This seminar focus on how to remediate heavy metals in soils and water from perspectives of field trials and labotory experiments. 本报告主要探讨重金属修复的场地实验和实验室的基础研究，包括利用植物修复方法修复As (Pteris. vittata)、Cd和Zn等重金属的实验研究和机理。
