报告人简介：
Dr Dick J. Brus is senior scientist and lecturer at the Department of Applied Mathematics and Statistics at Wageningen University in the Netherlands and adjunct Professor at the School of Geography of Nanjing Normal University. Dick’s favourite topics are statistical sampling in space or in space and time and geostatistics. He has broad knowledge of both design-based and model-based sampling strategies. He applies these statistical methods in mapping and monitoring of natural resources such as soil water and vegetation. He published about eighty papers in international journals. In 2014 he was awarded the Visiting Professorship for Senior International Scientists by the Chinese Academy of Science. He received best paper awards on Pedometrics in 1996 2004 and 2011.
