报告人简介：STEPHEN C. FRY博士，1979年获英国莱斯特大学植物生理学博士学位，现任英国爱丁堡大学分子植物科学学院终身教授、博士生导师，细胞壁实验室主任。他的研究方向为初生细胞壁及质外体的生化及生理机制研究。STEPHEN C. FRY教授获得了Fellowship of the Royal Society of Edinburgh (1992); Original member ‘Highly Cited Researchers’ database (ISI Thomson Scientific) (2002) ；membership of Society for Experimental Biology等荣誉，并担任Plant Cell Plant and Cell Physiology Plant Biosystems Annals of Botany等的编委。先后主持完成了89个科研项目，项目经费累计达到610万英镑，STEPHEN C. FRY教授在《Nature》、《PLANT CELL》等期刊发表文章两百多篇，累计影响因子1074，出版专著2本。
